Hi! I’m April True, a student intern at Creative Family Counseling. I am a graduate student at the University of Louisville currently pursuing my Master of Science in Couple and Family Therapy. After earning my B.S. in Psychology in 2019, I spent one year as a youth counselor at Maryhurst. I then moved on to become a crisis counselor, which I have now done for the past five years.

I am passionate about helping guide others through their mental health struggles and journey in life in a collaborative atmosphere. In my spare time I love to spend time with my daughter and thrift!
