Cambron McKeever

Hello! My name is Cambron and I am a student intern at Creative Family Counseling, currently completing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Spalding University.

My journey into counseling is rooted in a lifelong passion for understanding the human experience. Before entering the counseling field, I spent over two decades in the corporate entertainment industry in Los Angeles, having earned my bachelor’s degree in Cinema-Television from the University of Southern California. My years spent studying and developing stories taught me how profoundly family, cultural, and societal narratives impact our well-being across generations. Experiencing my own significant life transitions eventually led me to shift careers and pursue a lifelong calling: helping others navigate and understand their own life paths.

Because of this journey, I bring a wealth of diverse, global life experience to my clinical practice. My therapeutic style is deeply grounded in Narrative and Person-Centered Therapy. I strive to create a collaborative space built on perspective, honesty, humor, and curiosity, empowering you to explore your experiences and author the path forward.

Outside of the office, I am an avid traveler and a fan of live music. I am also deeply passionate about the healing connection between humans and animals. I spend much of my downtime with my golden Siberian and short-haired tabby cats, and I look forward to integrating animal-assisted therapy into my practice in the future.
