Carlina Scalf
Hello! I’m Carli Scalf, a student intern at Creative Family Counseling. I am a graduate student at the University of Louisville currently pursuing my Master of Science in Couple and Family Therapy. After experiencing the life-changing benefits of therapy in my own life, I felt a strong calling to pursue mental health training to support others in discovering more resilience, well-being, and self-acceptance. I am so grateful for the opportunity to learn from and practice with the team at Creative Family Counseling.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Journalism from Ball State University in 2019. With a background in writing, storytelling, and strengths-based professional development coaching, I bring a passion for helping clients reframe their personal narratives so that they can live with more compassion, confidence, and optimism. I also have a strong interest in eventually incorporating mindfulness and self-compassion practices into individual and relational therapy.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, writing, meditating, walking in nature, spending time with friends and family, and drinking Earl Grey tea.
