Hi! I’m Jackie O’Brien, the CEO and owner of Creative Family Counseling.

I am a Louisville native and a huge supporter of our local community. One of my greatest desires for Creative Family Counseling is that we continue to be the leader in our community as the go-to source for those who don’t know where to start, those who are looking to support and nurture their mental health, and those who are seeking strategies and resources for their children and families to be confident in today’s changing world. To accomplish this, our licensed and experienced child and family counselors equip you with tools you need to not only heal, but thrive.

Following my graduation from Assumption High School in 2002, I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Eastern Kentucky University (Go Colonels!). Since then, I have gained extensive leadership experience working in hospitality, sales, and management. My career includes 13 and a half years with Republic National Distributing Company, representing icons in the beverage industry such as Brown-Forman and American Beverage Marketers.

My past experience combined with my strong desire to mentor, empower, and help people achieve the best versions of themselves is what ended up leading me to Creative Family Counseling! As a wife and mother, I have also experienced firsthand how transformative family counseling is within my own family, and the role it has played in improving our lives and relationships.

Creating a safe and comfortable environment where children, individuals, couples, and families can learn, grow, and heal is a special role to have. I look forward to continuing to broaden Creative Family Counseling’s community outreach, touching the lives of more families and individuals, and empowering them to have a happier and healthier home.
