Nugget the Therapy Dog
Nugget is a Golden Retriever who has completed certification to perform as a Therapy Dog through Alliance of Therapy Dogs with his Therapist Mom, Marriage and Family Therapist Associate Leslie Cashion. Together, they work at the Lyndon Campus. Nugget loves interacting with kids, receiving belly rubs, and working hard for treats.
Because Nugget was raised without a lot of human contact in the early part of his life, he loves to snuggle and can sometimes be a ‘canine weighted blanket’ by pretending he is a small lap dog. (Don’t worry – Leslie keeps a lint roller to remove any dog hair in the office!)
Nugget works at the office two days a week, as well as making appearances on screen with telehealth. He is looking forward to seeing you in person!
