New Group Offering: Artfully Inspired Therapy Group
Happy almost 2023! This time of transition is often characterized by reflection, resolutions, and future planning. Although we do not have to wait for a New Year to begin making changes, oftentimes this hopeful energy fuels us to bettering our overall health. One way to accomplish this is by seeking therapeutic support, such as Group Therapy. Group Therapy is a valuable resource to incorporate into one’s mental health regime.
I am collaborating with Hannah Floyd (one of our amazing student counseling interns here at Creative Family Counseling!) to facilitate our Artfully Inspired Group. This group is designed to support individuals ages 13-15 seeking to utilize of this season of change to reflect on previous experiences, identify values and hopes for the future, and develop deeper self-awareness – All while engaging in expressive art interventions!
Combining the therapeutic nature of Group Therapy, the powerful healing powers of Art, and the budding hope for the New Year, we will join together to engage in positive, supportive relationships, process and heal from past challenges, encourage positive future thinking, and explore personal values to act as a guidepost for future decisions and behaviors.
Artfully Inspired will be held at our Lyndon Office on Tuesdays from 6:15pm-7:15pm beginning January 12th through February 9th. You may learn more about this Group opportunity here.
